Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actor from the United States. After her first film Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack member in WarGames 1982 and The Breakfast Club '85 she was known for being a part of this group. For her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. Ally Sheedy was born in America and she is a performer as well as an author. She began her acting career by appearing in the crime movie Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. In the film directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown as well as Alan Ruck also appeared. Her role was featured on screen in The Breakfast Club in 1985 the comedy following her initial fame. The film directed by John Hughes is considered one of the greatest films made by high school students of all time. Although the film's budget was only $1 million the film's profits were more than $50 million. Also, she began to appear in a variety of TV programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. In April 1980, the show was first aired. The show was designed for young people. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other television shows in which she was featured. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film about a super hero with Sheedy as a small cameo. Sheedy has been recognized for her extraordinary performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
